In 2006, he founded Inveon to develop e-commerce software platforms and solutions for enterprises. Since 2017, Inveon ranks in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list for 5 consecutive years as one of Turkey's fastest-growing technology companies.
Kastro also founded Inventures, an early-stage accelerator that invests in promising Internet ventures in 2009. He has been an investor and/or board member of more than 20 successful Internet ventures including Supplementler.com, Trendyol, Ideasoft, Blesh, Metamorfoz, Scorp, Tazemasa, myGini and Bulucak.com.
He was regarded as the “Most Successful Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by JCI in 2009. During his Ph.D., Kastro’s articles on Internet technologies, machine learning, and software engineering were published in numerous academic journals.
Completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at Bogazici University, Kastro was recognized with a high honors degree. He then advanced his academic career by completing Harvard Business School’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Program.
Yomi Kastro is the Founding Board Member of the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation. He is also the Board Member of the TUBISAD Informatics Industry Association.
